So I started my NAP a week before the tournament-festival started and ran it throughout the week it was on.
My NAP: "All the beliefs that stop you from winning a poker trophy this october are now removed from your subconscious mind, during this cleanup, you feel great 24/7, you totally detach yourself from your goal. You are winning a poker trophy this october."
So how did it go...
Tournament (1):
Well I started off by buying into a £65 ($105) tournament and there was about ~100 people, top 5 would be given free entry into the £1000 ($1600) tournament which first prize is £70K ($113K), thats what I was aiming for, obviously, haha.
This tournament went well and we was soon down to the final 6 players. I picked up "KK" (second best starting hand in the game) and one guy who slightly had more chips than me goes all in, now its up to me, I call. he has AJ (aj v kk = I'm a 70% favorite), until the cards come down AJ49J giving him the winning hand, and I'm knocked out 6th and receive £530 ($850) in tournament vouchers.
I was pretty gutted as it was my dream to win the entry to the big £1000 entry tournament and win that, but this turned out to be a blessing in disguise (thank you SM, haha).
So I've now got £530 ($850) that I have to spend on tournaments only throughout the week, so I decided to play as many as I could in hope for the trophy I was searching for.
Tournament (2):
The first tournament of the week was a £110 ($180) entry. I played really well, the cards were coming my way and everything was going perfect. From the starting 170 people we was down to the final 4. I made a hugeeeeeeeee mistake and it cost me my tournament, I was knocked out 4th, I took £1300 ($2100), my biggest win yet. I was gutted that I was so close to the trophy and made such a fatal mistake at the last moment after 12 hours of playing near on perfect poker.
I think this tournament affected my vibration for the rest of the week as I couldn't help but beat myself up over the mistake I made and how close I got in this tournament. Obviously I was still happy with the win but I'm sure many of you know what I mean.

I played a few more tournaments with the remaining tournament vouchers I had and they didn't go to great...
Tournament (3):
There were more satellite tournaments for the big £1000 entry one, I played one and it went great, I won the entry.

I played the main event just like I wanted too, it didn't go well. But it is definitely a foot in the right direction, I was the youngest one there, 20. 20 playing in a £1000 entry tournament sounds like an achievement to me.
If I had come top 5 on the first day and didn't win the £530, I would have just played the main event and not been able to play the tournament where I got my biggest win yet (£1300).
I do believe the NAPs helped. I felt alot more confident in my play and my game, I felt as if I was the best in the room and I think that reflected on how I played and how the cards just went my way exactly when I needed them too (tournament 2). I felt alot more detatched during the day.
I have changed my NAP from the trophy winning to more of a profitable (X AMOUNT A WEEK) one via poker.
This was only 1-2weeks of using the NAP, imagine if I had been doing it for months coming up to the festival.
