Merlin- I wouldn't fly with a jetpack even if you would give me $5 million.
He was just up here at the Oshkosh air show-quite a guy-..Man I worked w/yrs ago was a member of the EAA helped him w/installing his engine--took him many months to build-first flight out of the local airport and he crashed and burned. Quiet and unassuming man, great
person..RIP Bob.. Emphasis on experimental!!
Frenchman on the Jet pak, insists of his maneuverability ,carries a chute,, carbon fibre wing detaches and he "Hollywoods"down if needed
he gets up in the rarefied atmosphere, Yeah looks spectacular as hell in flight, it is-- quite a sight!!
Whoa nice ,never thought of them gaining such altitude- cumulus?? 2k-2500? Helluva ride..and what a sight.Any Nav gear on board at those heights? Small blip on radar.

They can fly way above 15 000 ft but because the Oxygen is rare after that they don't go higher.
Yeah that's the danger with paramotor when you go up in the clouds, the airplane coming can hardly see you.
Maybe the air traffic tower can and warn the others.
