Anyway, let's put it this way: there's some ultimate being which is responsible for everything else that exists. Like a ceiling that supports a chandelier. Either that being is personal or impersonal. I see no reason to think that the ultimate being can't be personal.
Because if it is personal, it means God, is basically a guy lording in a throne external and outside to you.
I can't find that concept to be coherent anymore.
Also God is not a being, it is All That Is, beings are reduced aspects of All That Is.
The reason why many think that the God we have is an...OLD...WHITE...MAN...is because the old white men are the ones controlling the planet here.
Old white men are in charge of....the POLITICS.
Old white men are in charge of....the BANKING SYSTEM.
Old white men are in charge of....the RELIGIONS.
