Yeah very impressive.

Is he in the same weight class than Kovalev and Stevenson?

Unfortunately no. He fights at 160. So he'd have to move up in weight and they'd have to move down. They'd probably have to be somewhere in the middle at 168 or maybe at some sort of a catchweight.

I heard he's fighting in L.A. on May 16th so I'm gonna talk to my brother to see if he wants to go see him fight :SupNap:

The beauty of having local boys fighting is that local TV networks have asked them to come in and talk so both Pascal and Stevenson were in studio commenting the fight and the next fight with Stevenson.

Pascal said that yeah he was light on his legs but he said he had worst times in the past and a few seconds more is usually what it needs to put back the eyes in the their sockets so he would have preferred the ref to not stop the fight. Personally, I think when someone is shaking that way, for their own health, even if they can come back in 10 seconds or so, it would be better to stop the fight to avoid making it worse.

Stevenson said that Kovalev's weakness was getting left punches and said that he got KOed by another opponent's left hook. Don't know about that though.

Yeah Pascal will thank the referee 20 years later. He could've been permanently damaged if the fight wouldn't have been stopped.

Do you know anything about Kovalev's "weakness" against leftys?

Hey Fight Fans,
Being a lefty I always had a small advantage over the orthodox dudes, and always took such advantage with my awkward stances. Circling the wrong way, using the Ali shuffle, which Ali was given BTW ,from an Arnis fighter..These little Arnis men kicked ornery Sailors azzez in the clubs regularly ,over there in the Pacific..

However I just wanted to talk about Mayweather v Manny..Should be a spectacular fight if they let go.. See a plethora of
circling and feeling out in the first couple rounds looking forward to a slugfest -my money on Manny! We'll see how it pans
out in the first round or two.. On the other hand!!! one or the other just might go for broke! and want to get it over with in the first couple, which would be a damn shame. Blood lust here!!

Ah man back when I sparred I HATED sparring with lefties. They do everything backwards and it's just confusing.
Lol my money is still on Money Mayweather. I think he's gonna frustrate Manny with his defense and just pepper him all day. We'll see if I change my mind but everyone I know is going for Manny including me but I've learned to separate my heart from my head when it comes to betting. What scares me is that Manny's still got power and speed and throws punches from awkward angles. And he's a SOUTHPAW.

Every pundit seems to point out that Manny hasn't had a knockout win in a while but he knocked down Algieri like six or seven times. And while he's not an elite fighter, he was still undefeated and beat a very tough fighter in Provnikov which is what got him the Manny fight in the first place. Not Manny's fault that his dumbass kept getting back up.

If Floyd makes it a boring fight, he will win. If it's a slugfest, Manny will win. Simple as that.

Mayweather is one hell of a boxer- so true. Sweet science down pat, man can box circles around anybody, still think Manny can catch him in later rounds. Hedging my bet some, Mayweather could easily score a KO early, but Manny is not that stupid, and would not let himself get in that position. Fingers crossed .Would like to at least double my money this time. I have been caught few times by some dudes, and got creamed in a round or two. Those guys were younger than me,and peppered the crap out of me..On my bicycle for a round or two, couple concussions at that time but oh well.
Enjoyed the hell out of those days.

If I were you guys and were betting in a casino or a bar I'd bet on the fight going 12 rounds. I don't see either guy getting knocked out in this one.
I've read from some dudes that are experienced in betting on boxing that they're betting on Mayweather winning and on the fight going 12 rounds. That way the only way they will lose money is if Manny knocks out Mayweather. I just don't see that happening though. Mayweather doesn't like to take unnecessary risks, and he doesn't have the power to knock Manny out either. He has brittle hands and I believe he takes some sort of painkiller that is banned in other states except for Nevada which is one reason that he is adamant about his fights being in Vegas.

On the other hand I could be wrong about everything and we see something like this play out but with Manny finishing the job

XC,

Man would I love to see 12 rounds of this fight, --going the distance ? I may tape this just to watch again and hope for 12.
So smart money on Floyd !, well he is "smart" moneywise as well, multi mega bux. I've heard he has brittle hands, Manny may have a trick or two in his corner and reach for them in his bag of trix.

wire Cheerz XC and thanx.
